Registered Psychologist (AHPRA)
I feel both honoured and privileged to hear people’s stories and walk alongside them in challenging times. I believe that to be seen, heard and acknowledged are basic human needs required for connection and transcend differences in gender, culture, life experience, status and beliefs.
I have a background in childhood trauma, attachment, parenting, family relationships, adult crisis intervention and group therapy. I currently work with adults, adolescents & couples in private practice seeing a wide range of presentations, but I specialise in anxiety, depression and trauma. My focus is on identifying barriers to accessing inner resources, building resilience and guiding my clients toward self-empowerment.
My therapeutic approach is authentic, warm and flexible. I take an evolutionary perspective, providing practical science-based rationale for why we do what we do… then, work with my clients collaboratively to decide which approach may work best.

I studied my Masters of Professional Psychology at Macquarie Uni and Bachelor of Psychology and Honours at Newcastle Uni.
I have recently returned to the Canberra & Yass regions after 22 years living on the beautiful NSW Central Coast. I am loving being close to my family again and rediscovering this amazing bush city & the picturesque friendly town of Yass.

In my spare time I love cooking & growing my own produce, having big family feasts, long phone calls with my daughter and spending time playing & training Atticus (therapy dog). I have also been known to enjoy trying new activities which often involve physical pursuits I admit are potentially beyond my capacity (like the lockdown roller-skates idea!?).

I believe balancing fun and adulting is a lifelong challenge worth pursuing!
